Solar Colorado is a for-profit business owned by a member of the Muscogee-Creek Tribe of Oklahoma.   

Our company's mission is to assist Tribes with attaining energy independence and further their economic development through the use of solar thermal energy technologies.

Our Tribal Energy Program includes classroom training for Tribal members prior to each solar thermal project installation, and those same Tribal members will then do the project installation under the supervision of their instructor.

In addition to the training received, the TEP provides performance monitoring for each system installed, and follow-up training for system maintenance and repair.

Our TEP provides Tribal members with real-world skills to be used not only for additional Tribal energy projects, but also projects in surrounding communities.

Tribal members with an understanding of solar thermal technology will be able to bring their knowledge and skills to other renewable energy areas such as biomass and geothermal.
